Basic Wedding Photography Course

Learn from a professional photographer the art in making a successful coverage on a wedding occasion.

This course is designed to train one in the event coverage as well as enhance one’s own skill as a wedding photographer.


Course Syllabus

Module 1: Basic Equipment

Module 2: Wedding Photography Dos & Don’ts / Photographer Ethics / Composition / Angles

Module 3: (1 outing) Outdoor Practical Session (with model)

Module 4: Photo Critique / Course Wrap-up


Assessment
Upon completion of the course, participants are required to submit a set of six 8” x 10” or 8” x 12” mounted prints for assessment. Course certificates will only be awarded upon successful submission.


Course Details

Duration           : 4 weeks (2 hours per session)
Time                 : 7.30pm to 9.30pm weekdays (except outings)
Fees                 : $200 (member) $300 (non-member)

*Course fees do not include any model, transport and miscellaneous costs that will be incurred during outings and practical sessions (where applicable). These will be made known to participants prior to the event, where possible, and shall be borne by the participants.

  • Mandarin and special timeslot courses subject to instructor availablity and minimum participation take-up rate. Participation take-up rates vary from course to course.
  • Should there be a change in commencement date, you shall be informed as soon as possible via phone or email.
    Course fees, once paid, are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend due to extenuating circumstances, you may request for a reschedule to a later course, if available.
