Landscape Photography & Post-Production Workshop
This workshop is designed for those who want to maximise the power of your equipment and produce beautiful landscape photographs through different perspective.
This course is conducted by a professional photographer who uses a digital camera and a popular photo editing software for his photographic productions. You will learn how to enhance your work with a few simple adjustments, making your works outshine the others with a lasting impression.
Photography is not completed without the final touch from your own desktop.
Course Syllabus
Module 1a (2:00pm to 5:00pm) :
Basic Exposure & Control – Centre-Weighted / Matrix / Spot / Focus Control / Understanding Histograms
Creative Photography Techniques – The Power of Lenses / Expand / Wide-angle / Fish-eye / Compress / Telephoto / Macro / Zoom / Other Effect / Colour Effect / Filters & White Balance
Freezing Subjects – Fast & Slow Shutter Speeds / Panning
Night Photography – Exposure Control / Painting with Light
Module 1b (6:00pm to 8:00pm) :
(1 outing) Outdoor Practical Session / Long Exposure / Painting with Light
Module 2a (7:30am to 11:30am) :
(1 outing) Day Practical Session / Using Different Lenses for Different Effects
Module 2b (2:00pm to 5:00pm) :
Photo Critique / Course Wrap-up
Assessment
Upon completion of the course, participants are required to submit a set of six 8” x 10” or 8” x 12” mounted prints for assessment. Course certificates will only be awarded upon successful submission.
Pre-requisites: Participents needs to own a stable tripod and have basic knowledge of digital photography (i.e. attended the Basic Digital Photography course)
They are also required to bring their own laptop computer for Photo Critique and Software Enhancement Session.

Duration : 2 weeks (6 hours per session)
Time : 2:00pm to 8:00pm (1st Weekend), 8:00am to 5:00pm (2nd Weekend)
Fees : $200 (member) $300 (non-member)
*Course fees do not include any model, transport and miscellaneous costs that will be incurred during outings and practical sessions (where applicable). These will be made known to participants prior to the event, where possible, and shall be borne by the participants.

- All courses are conducted at The Photographic Society of Singapore located at Selegie Arts Centre (yellow building opposite PoMo), 30 Selegie Road, Singapore 188351.
- Participant intending to purchase photographic equipment for any course/s are advised to seek instructor recommendations during the first lesson.
